Selling the Coast
Port St. Joe local, Dr. Carla Ashabranner, was formerly an educator both at the secondary and higher education levels. After obtaining her terminal degree in education, she decided to step away from teaching and begin her career in Real Estate. Carla has been married for ten years to Dr. Kam Ashabranner and together they have three young boys. Their marriage began here on the Forgotten Coast, as he proposed to her after climbing to the top of the St. George Island Lighthouse; then promptly followed with an intimate ceremony on Mexico Beach. Many happy memories have been acquired for Carla and her family in the area, most recently, their eldest son was Baptized in the St. Joseph Bay!
Carla’s grit, growth mindset, passion, hunger for knowledge, and competitive spirit make her an asset for her clients and their needs. She works diligently to meet goals and serve others.
You may often see Carla and her family getting ice cream at their aunts’ business, Sugar Shack PSJ, playing at the beach, taking photos, volunteering with their church and community, or walking their sweet golden retriever.
